How to Pair Fonts For Your Brand

In today’s blog I’ll be sharing with you my absolute favourite font pairings you can use on your website, newsletters, blog posts and more. Clunky and mismatched fonts share a lot about your whole brand. The tackier they look, the less people are attracted to you and what you have to offer. By just implementing these font pairings alone onto your platforms you can elevate your brand from bleh to successful.

First of all: What are the types of fonts?

The most common font types are SANS and SANS SERIF. Serif refers to a slight projection finishing off a stroke of a letter in certain typefaces. This gives off an elegant, and sophisticated look. Sans serif means without the serif and is a more modern choice, used in tech companies logos and websites. The Vogue label would be classified as a serif and the Apple logo would be classified as a sans serif. In the example below you can see the difference in the fonts and how they can be used differently to mean different things.

Some of these fonts may need downloading and google fonts is my favourite resource for that. Other fonts like Audrey can be found free online. What are your favourite fonts/font pairings?
